Unto The End arrives for Xbox Game Pass in December – TrueAchievements

Unto The End, an action-adventure game about journeying back to your family, had previously been confirmed to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Now, we have a release date: December 9th.

The devs describe it as a single-player “challenging combat adventure game in the style of a cinematic platformer,” with the single goal of returning home to your family by passing through ruins, mountains, traps, and challenges. The combat has been designed for 2D, and the devs say all of your character’s abilities will be available at once: you’ll have to learn how to master them to make it through the game.

The Xbox Game Pass services get a varied range of titles and genres. Stephen Denton, one half of the husband and wife team behind Unto The End, spoke earlier this year on how his deal with Xbox Game Pass works, so be sure to check that out for more info. We had a slew of Xbox Game Pass additions in November to coincide with the launch of the new Xbox consoles. As yet, we only know a few of December’s upcoming additions, but it’s a promising lot: Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition arrives for Xbox Game Pass on December 4th and is followed by Call of the Sea on December 8th, before Unto The End arrives on December 9th.
